Since moving here from North LA, I have not found pizza that even comes close to Johnny's. Imagine my pure delight when I found a Johnny's Pizza in Baton Rouge!! Johnny's is different from any other pizza I've ever had. They have a slightly sweet crust and cut the pizza into strips. The sweep the kitchen is the "deluxe" everything in it choice. They have a sweep the swamp that is seasonal...yummy! The bread sticks and cheese sauce are great too:). If you haven't tried Johnny's Pizza, swing by, you will be so glad you did!!

Another bad example of pizza in BR. Our Pie tasted of old stale ingredients and we could have had the same taste by eating the box it came in. Between bad pizza and over rated Italian spots we are learning BR is NOT necessarily an Italian town.

I ordered my pizza at 6:20pm and I'm still waiting on it almost an hour and a half later. Not to mention I called in and ordered it 15 minutes before I arrived. No pizza in the world is worth this bullshit. Got a refund.

Quality of food has decreased over time. Went because we had one back home in north LA & I loved it. Been disappointed last 2 times I went.

They don't answer the phones, so I place an order online to pick up at the store. I arrive at the location 30 minutes later. Once I go inside I see 1 person working there behind the counter. One lady was in front of me placing an order. While she was placing an order the phones were ringing continuously with no one answering. After she finished ordering, I stepped up in line. I told her I was there to pick up an order. She proceeded to ask if I placed it online, which is a stupid question. If they aren't answering the phones how else would I place an order... But I digress. I told her yes I ordered it online, she then tells me she hasn't made it yet. And instead of apologizing she just stares at me expecting me to say something. However, I had no words for this incompetence. Johnny's pizza needs to step it up and work on their customer service.

First bad experience. Hoping its an aberration. Delivery was 45 minutes later than the originally scheduled hour. Pizza was less than luke warm on arrival.

I just had my first Johnny's Pizza, and it was delicious! I loved my pizza as well as the "Peach Puddin' Pie" dessert. I don't know why I haven't heard of Johnny's before today, but you can be sure I will tell all my friends. I wanted lots of vegetables on my pizza, but I'm not a vegetarian, and I also like pepperoni. So I chose the veggie pizza with added pepperoni and no jalapeños. The pizza was cooked just right and delivered hot even though it's 40 degrees outside tonight. (And by the way, the delivery driver was friendly and nice.) The pizza crust was just how I like it--thin without being overly so, or crispy, which I don't like. It still had a bread/dough consistency. The toppings were tasty and spiced just right, and I thought the amount of cheese was also just right, although I have read other reviews that said one should ask for extra. I always like something a little sweet after dinner but am kinda tired of the traditional "cinna stix" dessert that most every delivery place seems to offer. So I was intrigued by the Peach Puddin' Pie and had to try it. I was delighted. It was extremely delicious, and--this may sound silly--I liked the fact that it didn't get cinnamon/sugar/butter goo all over my fingers. I found the peach flavor to be light and not overpowering. In summary, I truly enjoyed this dessert as well as my pizza. My only ever-so-slight "complaint" would be a wish that they add Coke Zero to the beverage menu. I really enjoyed Johnny's and will definitely be ordering again soon.

I love buffets and I love pizza, so I thought for sure I'd love Johnny's. I came for the weekend buffet and the price was $18 for two, and included 2 drinks. I started with salad and while the lettuce was fresh, the other toppings (hard boiled egg, okra, carrots, etc) were old/mushy. The breadsticks at the salad bar area were undercooked and not flavorful. Next, at the pizza area there were only 2 slices of cheese pizza left and all other pizzas had meat on them. I requested a veggie pizza and while I was waiting, some cheese bread came out which was decent. By the time the veggie pizza came out, I wasn't that hungry anymore. Good thing they had only made half a veggie pizza. It was missing a few ingredients, too. I took a slice to try it and it was unfortunately soggy and undercooked. I rarely give 2 star reviews, but I was totally underwhelmed with Johnny's. I found it overpriced and not at all tasty. Also, the crushed red pepper at the tables was so old that it had no flavor. I will stick with Cici's for pizza buffets in the future.

TIP: ADD EXTRA CHEESE. I love the pizza but now a days you have to order extra cheese because the regular amount of cheese they put on there....well let's say they've cut back. Try this pizza. Enough said

Johnny's Pizza is awesome. It may not be the best pizza in the city, but for $5.99 all you can eat lunch buffet, it's pretty awesome. When I used to go visit my friends in Shreveport and Monroe, one of my favorite things to do was to go to Johnny's Pizza. It's been here for a few years now, but I'm still glad we have it. The buffet is usually well stocked and you definitely will get your money's worth. Honestly, it's hard to say whether or not Johnny's or Mr Gatti's is the better buffet as it really comes down to personal preference, but it's definitely good.

After showing up at the time that I was given to pick up my order, I waited at the drive through window for 5 minutes before being greeted. The server informed me in a very rude tone that my order was just placed 25 min ago and the Internet time was not correct. She then informed me that I would have to wait for another 15 min because they had not started it yet. My card was already charged online and I was informed that she could not issue a refund and she could not cancel my order. My how this place has gone downhill. Wish I would have just gone to subway next door!

I enjoyed the pizza here. Tried the Sweep the Kitchen, minus anchoives and jalapenos. Great flavor, toppings were piled high but the crust was just crispy enough to keep it all on the slice. I will visit again.

Best pizza in town. In fact the closest competition is on Desiard across from NLU (I like that name better). The Sweep-the-Kitchen is Tops! Get it with extra cheese and you will be in pizza heaven.

Johnny's is pretty good, I gotta say, but I think I went in with some pre-conceived notions that left me a tad disappointed. Growing up in Alexandria, I am used to the delicious BJ's Pizza, which I have heard Johnny's is often compared to. I must say, compared to BJ's, Johnny's simply doesn't live up to those standards. It *is*, however, pretty decent pizza for this area. I have had both buffet and delivery, and the delivery was a bit better. I suppose I am not much of a buffet fan, though, so take that for what you will. I like that the slices are somewhat thinner than your average pizza, since I tend to prefer thin-crust, and I also like the long, rectangular slices (the main reason I think it is compared to BJ's, in the first place). The choice of toppings is good, and I like that they don't put a tooooon of sauce on it, either...since I don't care for too much marinara, either. Overall, I know I'll be back, and I would give it a decent rating for a pizza option in the area.

Let me start off by saying my boyfriend grew up in New York, so we're really particular about our pizza. The pizza itself isn't anything fantastic, but the customer service is what makes this place a 4 star establishment. We spilled iced tea EVERYWHERE and the staff acted like it was no big deal and cleaned it up and tried to help us clean off our clothes. In addition, our pizza order was taken wrong so we were given a free order of breadsticks coupon and a personal apology from the manager. You rarely see this from somewhere that's just a local pizza place. I'm very impressed with the customer service and for that reason alone I will be back!!

The pizza is okay. Not a game changer in the pizza world, but good enough for me to order from them again. I ordered last minute food from them Super Bowl Sunday. They were definitely busy and still provided fast, fresh, friendly service. I picked up the food, so I was able to check out the inside. The place looked clean and comfortable. It also looked kid friendly, without being too much for those without children. I am looking forward to trying their specialty pizza. They sound interesting, and delicious.

Finally a Johnny's Pizza in Baton Rouge. I live right by this place and eat here all of the time. The buffet is always great, but I recommend going ahead and buying a personal pizza or a pizza for your group of people (sometimes the pizza goes pretty fast on the buffet). My favorite is the Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza, but honestly everything I have had here is amazing! Can't go wrong with pizza, especially here. Skip Dominos and Papa Johns- they have those everywhere. GO TO JOHNNYS!

This is the only Johnny's I'm aware of down in south LA. ..Road construction at the corner of the shopping center is a true pain in the ass but this ain't Johnny's fault... Stopped in cause my boy was jonesing for the Pepperonni(?) Plus and truth be told I ain't had no Johnny's since I moved from the Boss City in north LA down here... Stopped in and enjoyed some great Johnny's pizza....Damn, didn't realize how much I had missed a loaded Sweep the Kitchen!!! Interior isn't anything to speak of...some booths and some tables but seriously you don't go to a Johnny's for the decor...you go for the pizza and maybe a frosty mug of your favorite Amercian lager. One cool thing I noticed was they offer 2 shirts that say Johnny's...One is Black and Gold (Geaux Saints) and one is Purple and Gold (Geaux Tigers)...might have to stop back in and make a purchase... Hey, I love Johnny's and if you stop in hopefully you will too!!!

Finally a Johnny's in South Louisiana. The pizza god's and Monroe expats rejoice! Johnny's Pizza is the best thing to come out of the 318 area code in its known history. And this location does their pizza right. Buffet was great, fresh out of the oven and plenty of variety.

My buddies from north Louisiana are right. Good slice. I'm a simple pizza guy, but we had the "sweep the kitchen". What usually happens with an "all the way" pizza is the spot in the center of the pizza just becomes an unmanageable mush. Thin crust, nice sauce, cooked just right. The center was done just right. We also had the wings. I won't recommend them. Just baked with sauce poured over them. It is a pizza not a wing joint after all. The salad bar was very similar, all the basic stuff but I say stay away from salad at a pizza place.
